Whether explaining cancer genetics, enterprise software, or carbon emissions, Michelle has a unique ability to make complex ideas simple, relatable, and actionable. Her engaging style has inspired audiences around the world, helping Fortune 500 companies, professional sports organizations, governments, and global brands build understanding, spark curiosity, and turn knowledge into meaningful action.

What Gets Measured Gets Changed: Measuring Risk. Driving Resilience.
Insurance exists to understand risk, and climate change is reshaping the risk landscape faster than almost any force in the industry’s history. Yet the data behind that shift, like carbon, remains invisible to most teams and customers.
In this engaging keynote, Michelle Li uses her signature blend of creative storytelling, pop culture, interactive learning, and unexpected connections to break down complex topics and make them understandable, memorable, and actionable.
What do Taylor Swift concerts, Beatles records, your morning coffee, and the risks priced into every policy have in common? They all reveal hidden systems (energy, consumption, and carbon) in ways that people instantly understand.
The keynote concludes by exploring how insurers can use data to measure risk and drive resilience: across operations, claims, supplier engagement, customer education, risk management, procurement, and employee engagement. Audiences leave seeing climate data as the industry’s next great opportunity: protecting customers and communities while building a more resilient business.
