What Gets Measured Gets Changed: Creating Value Through Smarter Choices
Retail lives closest to the customer, and customers increasingly expect sustainable products, transparent supply chains, and responsible business practices. Yet some of the most important data behind every purchase, like carbon, remains invisible to shoppers and employees alike.
In this engaging keynote, Michelle Li uses her signature blend of creative storytelling, pop culture, interactive learning, and unexpected connections to break down complex topics and make them understandable, memorable, and actionable.
What do Taylor Swift concerts, Beatles records, your morning coffee, and the products on your shelves have in common? They all reveal hidden systems (sourcing, packaging, logistics, and carbon) in ways that people instantly understand.
The keynote concludes by exploring how retailers and consumer brands can use data to uncover sustainability opportunities across the business: from products and packaging to logistics, stores, supply chains, consumer engagement, procurement, and waste reduction. Audiences leave seeing data as a way to create value through smarter choices: for the business and for the customer.
